Coats, Vests & Sweaters

Filson coats and jackets are generously sized. Your suit size would normally be the correct size. If you intend to layer heavily underneath your Filson coat, we recommend that you order one size larger than your suit size.

Extra-long Filson coats & sweaters have 1 1/2" longer sleeves and 1 1/2" longer body length. Extra-long Filson vests have 1 1/2" longer body length.

Shirts

Order by your neck and sleeve measurements. If machine-washed, allow for shrinkage by ordering the next size up.

Extra-long Filson shirts have 1 1/2" longer sleeves and 1 1/2" longer body length.

Hats

Using a measuring tape, measure around the largest part of the head above the eye brow ridges. Convert to hat size using the hat chart below.

Gloves

Using a measuring tape, measure all around your palm below the base of your fingers. Convert to glove size using the glove chart below.

Women's

This chart shows women's body measurements, not garment measurements.

To measure Sleeve: extend arm in front of you and bend 90 degrees at the elbow. Measure from the center back of your neck to the outside of your shoulder, then continue from shoulder to elbow, and then from elbow to wrist bone.
